Home
John Clare Mountaineering Club is ideal if you are interested in rock climbing, hill walking or mountaineering; whether a first timer or a seasoned mountaineer.
NEWCOMERS
We welcome climbers of all standards and abilities. Although no formal tuition is offered by the club, there are several members who do offer this as a private arrangement. Feel free to come along to a club meeting to find out more.
MEETS
Come along to our club meetings usually held on the last Tuesday of each month. This is a great opportunity to meet the club and sign up for any trips. We meet from 8.30pm, for a 9:00pm start at The Pinnacle Climbing Centre. Check the upcoming events for a map of the location.
Members regularly climb at walls around the Midlands, in particular on Monday nights at Northampton's new Pinnacle climbing wall.
TRIPS
JCMC organises many trips each year which are mostly arranged for weekends across the UK, in areas such as the Lake District and North Wales. Occasionally a longer expedition may be organised for a week, either in the UK or abroad. These are open to all club members regardless of ability, everyones welcome.
